Description and operation

Description

1.	The ESC OFF switch is for the user to turn off the ESC system.

2.	The ESC OFF lamp is on when ESC OFF switch is engaged.

Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")

3.	Remove the crash pad garnish[LH]. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Garnish")

4.	Remove the crash pad lower garnish [LH] after loosening the mounting screws.

5.	Disconnect the crash pad lower garnish [LH] connector (A).

6.	Remove the side crash pad switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection

1.	Check the switch terminal and replace if abnormal.
