Repair procedures

Removal

If necessary, remove the blade by pushing it in the direction arrow after opening the hook (A).

•	Move the windshield glass wiper blades to the service position as follows; After turning off the engine, move the wiper switch to the single wiping (MIST) position within 20 seconds and hold the switch more than 2 seconds until the wiper blade is in the service position.

•	After turning ignition to the ON position, move the wiper switch to the single wiping (MIST) and wiper arms will return to the normal operating position.

Remove the wiper arms (A) by loosening the nuts after removing the caps.

Tightening torque :

22.6 - 26.5 N·m (2.3 - 2.7 kgf·m, 16.6 - 19.5 lb·ft)

Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	When installing, place the wiper arm to the specified position and then tighten the nut.

–	Place the wipers to the marking (A) position of windshield glass.
