Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces
without marring the surface.

Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
|

Remove the side seal moulding with the front and rear door full
open.
|

Remove the trunk lid trim.
(Refer to Trunk Lid - "Trunk Lid Trim")
|
| 2. |
Loosen the trunk lid garnish mounting nuts.
|
Tightening torque :
5.9 - 6.4 N·m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf·m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb·ft, 52.1 - 56.4
lb·in)

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the trunk lid garnish (A).
|
| 4. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
Replace any damaged clips.
