Repair procedures

Replacement

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.	Open the fuel filler door (A).

2.	Loosen the fuel filler door mounting bolt (A).

3.	Insert 4 points (A) marked with awls to release the inner locking jaw, and then remove the fuel door housing.

Disconnect the fuel filler door connector (A).

The outer cover (B) is reusable but the fuel door housing (C) is replaced with new parts.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the fuel filler door locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly.
