Repair procedures

Replacement
  

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.

Remove the rear door window glass.

(Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Window Glass")

2.

Remove the rear door outside handle.

(Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")

3.

Release the locking pin in the direction of the arrow and remove the rear door main wiring connector (A).

4.

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear door module (A).

Tightening torque :

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

5.

Disconnect the rear door module wiring clip (A).

6.

Disconnect the connectors and rear door module wiring harness.

7.

Remove the rear speaker.

(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Speakers")

8.

Remove the rear power window motor.

(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor")

9.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  

Make sure connectors are connected properly and each rod is connected securely.

Make sure the door locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly.
