Remove the rear door module. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Module") |

Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle") |

Loosen the rear door outside handle base mounting bolt (A).

Loosen the rear door latch mounting screws (A).

Remove the rear door latch assembly (A).

Open the cover to remove the rear door outside handle base by pressing the locking pin (A).

Loosen the load (A) and remove the rear door outside handle base.

| 8. |
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Repair procedures Replacement [Rear door side weatherstrip] 1. Loosen the rear door checker (B) mounting bolt.
Repair procedures Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model.
