Repair procedures

Replacement

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.	Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the windshield glass side molding (A).

2.	Separate the plug hole (A), loosen the mounting nuts and remove the wiper arm (B).

3.	Separate the washer nozzle (A).

4.	Loosen the mounting clips and remove the cowl top cover (A).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
